Our Mudjacking Process

Step 1: Drill

To start the process, we drill several holes - 1.75" in diameter - into the concrete slab. The holes are patterned throughout the slab to effectively raise the concrete back to a level position. 

The number of holes will vary on a project to project basis.

Step 2: Pump

After drilling is complete, the mudjacking mix is hydraulically pumped under the concrete slab through the drilled holes. The mudjacking slurry spreads under the concrete as it is pumped, filling areas of empty space or voids to stabilize the foundation that the concrete was originally poured on.

The pressure from the mixture starts lifting the slab once the voids are filled, raising the concrete back to its original position.

As we carefully monitor the amount of mix being pumped, we make the necessary adjustments to even the surface.

Step 3: Repair

Once the slab is level and repair is complete, the previously drilled holes are cleaned and patched. In addition, we offer a caulking seal to eliminate further water penetration for longer lasting results.
